Our conveyor systems are only as good as their “heart” – the built-in electrical control system. The requirements for system safety and various system functions have increased rapidly over the years. As a result, the control systems for our intelligent conveyor solutions have become increasingly complex and sophisticated.

For more 60 years, our in-house Control Systems Department has been designing and developing control and automation systems for our conveyors in close internal cooperation. Hardware and software are powerfully combined at CALDAN – for integrated quality without unnecessary interfaces.

• coupling of databases for recipe handling

Our software and control solutions are designed according to the CALDAN Conveyor Control Concept, which covers everything from the field to the actual control of the conveyor. The concept has a modular design that allows us to efficiently create customized solutions. This saves time, reduces costs and results in a more efficient product for our customers.

Simulation & visualization
Through system simulation and visualization, we make an overview of the material flow available to our customers. The larger and more complex the conveyor system, the more important the overview of all process steps and the status of items to be handled. Efficiency in the processes ensure productivity, and a gives our customers a competitive advantage.

We are located here
Our controls department is based in Denmark, but we also have departments in Germany and the UK to better serve our customers. Each location has a team of experts including a department manager, project manager, lead engineer and automation engineer(s). This enables us to respond effectively to our customers’ needs.
